Europe 2009: Day 5

Innsbruck, Austria

Mari membuka semula buku Europe kita kerana Naziha sedang bosan bekerja. Jadi hari kelima kami semua berada di Austria. Oh ini Austria, theres no kangaroo here okay haha. Sementara menanti orang2 siap mengemas bas (haa kemas bas?), kami berdua bermain di taman pemainan. Everyone surely ada kanak2-side dlm diri kan? eleh tak payah tipu la, kalau nampak buaian tu tanak naik konon, control macho lah tuu. But anyway, we had a great time with these naughty kids. Let see if I still remember their names - Ammar, err anak abg sam (sorang irfan, sorang lagi ali kan?) and Zafri.

We then went to City of Innsbruck. Yes nama de pelik sekali kan? Emm apa ada kat sini haa? ada SWAROVSKI. haha perlukah huruf besar di situ, yes, perlu perlu. hahaha. Oleh kerana we're on a budget trip, kenalah sentiasa berjimat cermat dengan meminimizekan pembelian barang2 tak perlu seperti SWAROVSKI. I'll come back here bila da kaya nanti okay? haha memang da tak dtg balik lah kalau macam tu haha.

Oh Golden balcony. Mengikut sumber yg 90% saya percaya which is Shaykh Wikipedia:

The Golden Roof was built by Archduke Friedrich IV in the early 15th century as the residence of the Tirolean sovereigns. The Golden Roof actually is the three-story balcony on the central plaza at the heart of the Old Town. It was constructed for Emperor Maximilian I to serve as a royal box where he could sit in luxury and enjoy tournaments in the square below. Completed at the dawn of the 16th century, the Golden Roof was built in honor of Maximilian's second marriage, to Bianca Maria Sforza of Milan. Not wishing to alienate the allies gained by his first marriage, to Maria of Burgundy, he had an image of himself between the two women painted on his balcony.

Hmm agak menarik. kawin dua rupanya hahaha. Nampak tak Golden Roof yang kat bangunan depan tu ha. kecik je. Roof tu tau bukan payung tempat org lepak2 tu. Apa2pon, lawa la Insbruck ni sbb dikelilingi gunung2, pastu awan2 sume. It is just perfect! Subhanallah mmg lawa lahhh tak tipuu.

Lepas merayau2 membeli souvenir, dan sebagainya, kami pon pegilaa ke tempat yang namanya sky jump ramp. Time tu saya cam blur2 ayam apalaa abg hairul ckp ni. Len kali sila la membuat homework mengkaji tempat yang anda akan pergi ye cik. So rupa-rupanya sky jump ramp tuuu ialah ini:

So this place was build for Winter Olympics by an architect Zaha Hadid. Cool la sbb Zaha Hadid is a "she". haha. Oh oh nama hill ni bergisel. Lalu kerana curiosity yang tinggi saya pon melihat youtube bagaimana orang bermain ski jump ramp ini. Gosh sangat la menakutkan. Lihat sini. Btw, Zaha Hadid won the international competition for the ski jump in 1999. Agak cool la bnda ni sbb kat atas tu ada public space sume. Go Zaha Hadid! Haha tak pasal2. Architect memang macho. 

But anyway, walaupon saya tak paham apa yang sy tgk time tu, I had an awesome time melihat scenery yg mmg takley blah cantik. Subhanallah!
