adakah KFC berasal dari Kentucky?

Walaupon da gebang gebang dekat Ibnulazim, tapi I cant help it, cam wajib je letak kat sini gak haha.

Kalau kat Vandy zaman dulu dulu, kena drive 8 hours to get halal kfc. 

Reality manusia: appreciate things lebih kalau benda tu susah nak dapat, padahalnya kita tak sure pon benda yang kita dapat hari hari tu akan dapat lagi esok.

five written exams plus three oral exams. tapi takpe, tu semua TAHUN DEPAN anyway. sudah tentu perlu chill seperti biasa.

'Ashura

After the hijrah when The Prophet (saw) came to Madinah, he found that the Jews of Madinah also used to observe this day with fasting. The Prophet (saw) asked them the reason of their fasting on this day. They said, 

“This is a blessed day. On this day Allah saved the Children of Israel from their enemy and so Prophet Musa fasted on this day giving thanks to Allah.” 

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, 

“We have more claim to Musa than you.” 

He fasted on that day and commanded Muslims to fast on this day. 

[Bukhari]

`Abdullah ibn `Abbas ra said: When the Messenger of Allah (saw) fasted on the day of `Ashura’ and told the people to fast, they said, 

“O Messenger of Allah, this is a day that is venerated by the Jews and Christians.” 

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said,

“Next year, if Allah wills, we will fast on the ninth day.”

But by the time the following year came, the Messenger of Allah (saw) had passed away.

Jangan keliru. Rasulullah sebenarnya dah puasa before migrating to Madinah lagi. bukannya start puasa bila dah kat madinah or bila nampak Jews puasa. Secara tak langsung, tindakan Nabi Muhammad saw ni sebenarnya nak sampaikan kpd Jews bahawa it is only one religion all along. Nabi Musa (as) pon perjuangkan benda sama as he did. Lepas tu, in order to differentiate, the Prophet intended to fast on the 9th the next year but he passed away. 

Lagi,

The Prophet SAW said,

“Fasting the day of `Ashura’, I hope that Allah will accept it as expiation for the previous year.”

[Muslim]

on a different note, saya selalu jealous dengan orang di malaysia sebab ada surau bersepah. eh mungkin tak bersepah tapi tersusun rapi kot. hmm. honestly tu lah saya rasa bila ada kat malaysia few months back. ambil air sembahyang dalam surau wah macam heaven tau tak!! walaupun lepas tu merungut dengan kain sembahyang yang surau provide if you know what i mean hahaha. bila struggle cari tempat solat, benda yang terlintas is semoga nanti saya settle down di tempat yang senang nak tunaikan solat, dan tempat yang menghormati waktu solat jumaat (tak buat meeting or event or whatever waktu solat jumaat ceyy cam laki pulak fikir tiba tiba). apa2 pon hasil hidup 21 tahun(actually mungkin hasil 4 tahun di Vandy) mengajar bahawa bumi Allah semuanya suci melainkan yang terbukti tidak. tapi still, banyak delima buah delima yang dihadapi. hey dont judge, okay bye.

My Lord, make me an establisher of prayer, and [many] from my descendants. Our Lord, and accept my supplication

p/s: jangan lupa berdoa walaupon mungkin kita solat tip top sebab esok lusa kita tak tau apa akan jadi, kita tak tau apa yang bakal Allah uji kita dengan. Wah ayat sungguh bagus impress2 HAIH.

Pencil Case.

I dont really know how is it back in Malaysia but it should be the same. and I'm quite sure that most of the "cool guys" in The States doesn't have a pencil case. Pen sebatang and a piece a paper sudah cukup untuk ke kelas, no?

but here in Germany, it amazed me a whole lot as it is kind of wajib for them to have a pencil case. And it is not just that, siap ada Stabillo macam macam color lagi. Mantap. It actually takes me few weeks stalking the Deutsche and betuul, semua orang ada pencil case lengkap ada pencil, ruler, eraser, pen semua warna tak kiralah anda lelaki hensem cool bergaya, atau nerd spec tebal hahaha.

It is really new to me seeing a cool guy, taking out yellow Stabillo pen from his poket-doremon-pencil case. Really new. in a good way of course, a redefinition of macho perhaps? Haha

FAT straw jual bubble tea

Facebook might dissapear bila dah tua nanti haha but this blog will not (kot). So I better put this nostalgic pics up here. 

Bubble tea. One of the comfort food drinks that will quench your heart. Takde unsur exaggerate langsung di situ ye. Walaupun boleh la be specific there, Taro will quench your heart. Sebab ada orang ni, dia tak penah ubah try different things, nak taro je cuk3 tak adventurous langsung hidup. Best nya tempat ni dulu, bila kad yang dia cop cop tu dah penuh, we get a free bubble tea, and also boleh ambil gambar free. Haha sape tak excited boleh ambik gambar haa sapee? Kalau spuluh orang serbu bubble tea, spuluh orang jugak la himpit nak masuk sekeping gambar tu haha

Ni time Islamic Spring Retreat dekat Vandy. They had this session called "Sesi Riadah" and haha a very fit riadah we got there indeed! (nasib baik 9 orang je dalam gambar ni)

Six of us, budak budak suite. "Take a breath" as what Azni called it, sebab time ni kalat nak kemas untuk pindah from Suite. Ahhh janji, suite is the best place i ever lived in. Eh chaffin pon kot? Eh 

Last one ni special sbb nama saya huruf besar HAHA. and wow summer 2008? mudanya mudanya mudanyaaa

Sukanya bubble tea sampai time maa abah datang Nashville pon saya bawak pegi situ, tapi, tade rezki sbb tutup ish ish ish. kecewa walaupon yakin je maa abah tade la suka kot bubble tea haha.

But on top of everything, I believe it is not bubble tea itself that makes that place super special, it is the people. will always be the people.

Selamat menyambut tahun baru :)

bila cakap tahun baru, orang mesti tanya azam macamana? saya honestly da tak berapa nak ingat apa azam saya. something is really wrong not right with my memory. ataupon mmg saya tak berazam apa apa pon last year kot kecuali nak grad from Vandy. yay tercapai la kiranya kan haha walaupon tu not exactly an azam.

eh takkan nak buat azam tahun ni nak grad jugak? okay tak tak. sebab grad kali ni lambat lagi.

nak figure kerja yang best lah lepas grad. kerja yang tak perlu balik lambat, so boleh solat (at least) maghrib ngn isya' kat rumah/masjid so malam or petang tu boleh lepak2 chillex je haha. kerja yang boleh cuti panjang bila ada emergency macam sape sape sakit, or ada kenduri(haha tu emergency ke?), ataupon bila malas. kerja yang tak perlu lalui traffic jam segala. kerja yang dekat dengan kampung so boleh balik selalu. kerja yang walaupun tak layak masuk kategori kaya, tapi boleh set aside duit untuk pegi haji. lepas tu ada duit lagi untuk pegi travel. last sekali, kerja yang pagi pagi bila nak bangun pergi kerja, rasa macam, aaaa excitednya hari ni kerja!!

impossible. err Haji Lazim ada kerja kosong tak? HAHA

okay bye kita sambung berangan berazam 1 january pulak nanti
